Shipping Policy

We currently ship items out within 1-3 days depending on when you place your order. Due to time constraints (it’s a one woman show over here), shipments are sent out once or twice a week depending on volume.

Important notes about shipping:

Free standard shipping for orders over 100$ in the U.S.!

Shipping rates for orders less than $100:

8$ Flat rate in the U.S. for orders up to $30
11$ Flat rate in the U.S for orders $31-$99

All packages are carefully packed to avoid damage, and are insured against loss. However, if a package is lost due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer, we cannot cover that loss. If Green Moon Witchery LLC receives a returned package that had an incorrect address, I will reship it once the customer has paid for the new shipment.

To avoid lost shipments or extra charges to reship please, please double check the shipping details you provide! Inclue the correct unit or apartment numbers if you have them.

United States Shipping Only

For now, due to the high cost of shipping, weight limitations, and unpredictable customs delays, we are only shipping within the United States. If you live outside of the United States and would like for me to expand my shipping options to include your country, please reach out!

Returns and Refunds

Due to the personal nature of the items sold, I cannot accept returns. If you have a problem with your order, please reach out and we will try to make it right!

Why don’t my items look the same as in the listing?

Due to the handmade nature of the items in the listings, we cannot guarantee that all items have the same appearance. However, they should be close to the images for what you’ve ordered.

How long will my soap last?

If you let your soap dry between uses, it will last much longer than if it stays wet. I recommend using a well draining soap dish rather than a bowl or something that traps the water underneath the bar. The lifespan of a bar depends on how the bar is being used, such as handwashing vs. bathing, how frequently it’s used, and how well it dries between uses.

The soaps are cured for between 4-6 weeks before I sell them, which helps most of the water used during the crafting evaporate. This leaves a very hard, long-lasting bar.

The shelf life of soap is close to indefinite, but the scents will fade over time. I have soap bars that I made 10 years ago that still work great as soap but any essential oil scents have mostly faded.

Do you make custom soaps?

I’m happy to chat about a custom soap idea! If you’re curious about a custom batch of soap, keep in mind that I make my batches in 3 lb increments, and the time from recipe formulation to a cured bar of soap is about 5 weeks, depending on scheduling and whether any of the requested materials need to be sourced.

I’ve made custom batches for holiday gifting and events, so it takes a bit of planning to time things right.

Do you do tarot readings? Can you give me a tarot reading?

Not right now! Follow me on social media or substack to chat all things tarot. I will never message you to try and sell you a reading, so watch out for scammers.

Can I pick up my order instead of paying for shipping?

I’m working on making this possible! If you’re close to me (Portland Oregon) and are interested in local pickup, email me to let me know!

Ingredients

We attempt to source all ingredients from reputable, ethical, clean, and cruelty free sources. We are always striving to improve our sourcing!

Palm Oil: We order palm oil from Brambleberry whose supplier is part of the Roundtable in Sustainable Palm Oil. To learn more about https://rspo.org/

Essential Oils: All essential oil sources are high quality and are used at usage rates using safe usage guidlines (IFRA guidelines).

Allergens

Products are made with a wide variety of ingredients, botanicals, essential oils, oils, clays, and other ingredients. It is possible that ingredients may have come into contact with one another. It is important that you are aware of ingredients or allergens that you may be sensitive to and know that it might be possible they may have been in contact with one of our products.

As with any cosmetics, if any products cause irritation, please discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.

It is the product user’s responsibility to use the products as intended. Always be aware of personal sensitivities, allergies, and irritations. Spot test products prior to full use. If any products cause irritation, please discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.
