Plantain is the central herb in this soap formulation, and it’s lovely for the skin. The nourishing oils and butters used create a fairly hard, bubbly bar with a medium grounding and clarifying scent, with rosemary, pepper, and cedarwood used to evoke serious evaluation and memory.

Each bar is about 4 ounces. The size varies a little bit from bar to bar due to the nature of small batch crafting. To help your soap last as long as possible, use a well draining soap dish to let it thoroughly dry out between uses.

Ingredients:

Olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, castor oil, chamomile flowers, essential oil blend (rosemary, black pepper, & cedarwood), indigo powder, lye, water

(There is no lye in the finished soap. The lye combines with the fatty acids of the oils to create soap. The science and magic of soap!)
